9. The Rumpus Room - The Girl Who Slept Too Little

After over 550 episodes, it's fair to say that most fans probably know The Simpsons home like the back of their hand. But while you may be able to chart a way through the house, there's one room only true die-hards would be even aware of. Colloquially known as the Rumpus Room, it's a small room just off from the kitchen that sits behind the garage. If it all sounds a bit Doctor Who, not feeling like it's an essential part of the show, don't worry - it's only appeared in a handful of episodes. And while most of those episodes were mostly early on, where plots didn't move at a lightening pace and time could be just spent exploring the house, the rumpus room does make a re-appearance in Season 17 in The Girl Who Slept Too Little. It's kinda ironic for an episode that so gleefully messes with geography (suddenly the family lives next to a graveyard) to remember such a long forgotten room.
