8. The Same Joke From Who Shot Mr. Burns Part 2 - The Bonfire Of The Manatees

Speaking of rarely seen parts of The Simpsons house, there's the even more seldom visited exterior toolshed, which is only seen in Who Shot Mr. Burns Part 2, where it's mistaken by Grandpa as the families outhouse. That joke is referenced in the Season 17 premiere, The Bonfire Of The Manatees, where Homer himself mistakes his cousins' recording studio for an outhouse. The joke itself isn't that great, but with the previous usage in mind it's a nice show of The Simpsons having a bit of memory. Of course, with Homer now the one making the misunderstanding, it could also just stand as further proof that the character has been heavily dumbed down in over the inter-rim decade.
