1. Sherri And Terri's Evil Triplet
It's been a long time since Springfield's oddly complexioned twins were featured in a prominent story. They showed up to antagonize Bart in the first two seasons and have frequent appeared as either friends or rivals of Lisa. We have never learned much about them, and frankly most of us haven't asked. But in "The Blue and The Grey" we learned a shocking secret about them from school psychiatrist Dr. J. Loren Pryor (remember him?). He tells Bart not to worry about their teasing because the twins are actually triplets and they constantly live in fear of the third triplet, separated at birth, who is "out for revenge". Now forget why a psychiatrist would divulge personal information and just imagine how that episode would go. Suddenly very minor characters become a hell of a lot more interesting. It would be better than hearing the twins sing another rhyme about Bart or Lisa again. That's the the beauty of the Simpsons. Even after 25 seasons there just isn't time to feature every character.
