2. Hans Moleman Repeatedly Cheats Death
Even poor Kirk Van Houten doesn't have it as bad as Hans Moleman. Everybody's favorite peanut has gone through more tragedies and catastrophes than anyone else in Springfield and yet he has lived through countless calamities that should have resulted in his death. To date we've seen him run off a cliff by Homer (resulting in the explosion of Edgar Allen Poe's first house) take a power drill to the brain from Mr Burns, run over by Homer repeatedly, and sentenced to death in a local jail - after Homer of all people ate his last meal! Yet he still lives! Although we'd like an explanation for how the worlds oldest looking thirty one year old has survived so much chaos (and just what exactly this helpless blind man could have done to deserve the death penalty), we'd also love to see Moleman get revenge on the town (or at least Homer) with his army of Mole People. There is no escape from the fortress of the moles!
