12. Mr. Largo
20th Century Fox TelevisionAgain, in case you have no idea who this is referring to, Dewey Largo is the music teacher at Springfield Elementary. Most of his time spent on-screen represents interactions with Lisa since she is the one with a musical interest. As a character, Largo is annoying due to his blandness. No scene he is featured in is made better by the fact that Largo was there. There is apparently no effort on behalf of the shows producers and writers to make him interesting in any way whatsoever. If you are asked to summarise the character, there are basically two things that can be said about Mr. Largo: that he sucks at a job he hates and that hes gay. After 25 years, thats about the extent of the character. In his defence, Mr. Largo didn't exactly get the benefit of tons of scenes in which to evolve as a character and to endear himself to the audience. His most notable appearance probably remains the beginning credits where he scolds Lisa for playing the sax and throws her out of class. He could get more screentime in the future but, by this time, it's probably going to be much too late to make any of us care about Mr. Largo.
