15. Homer Is Tempted By Mindy - "The Last Temptation Of Homer" (5.9)
As is the case with every marriage, Homer and Marge have their problems. Despite that, audiences know that they love one another deeply and would never intentionally cheat, which is what makes "The Last Temptation of Homer" so shocking. Over the course of this episode, he's continually tempted by his new, sexy co-worker, Mindy, who continually makes passes at our hero. No, Homer doesn't actually do anything in the end and he goes back to Marge (happily), but witnessing his temptation alone was kind of unnerving - especially given the context we were used to.
