The Simpsons: 5 Reasons Why Sideshow Bob Needs To Die

With the Simpsons all set to pull the trigger on one of their main cast members, we make the case that Sideshow Bob's the one that has to go.

Death in animation is a hot topic right now. Toward the end of last month, Family Guy shocked their fans by killing off a permanent member of the Griffin family - Brian - in a devastating car accident. And in the New Year, the Simpsons are to kill off one of their main cast members in a closely-guarded plot that is set to air midway through season 25. Fans have been second guessing themselves who the unlucky Springfieldian could be, while various bookmakers have started weighing in on the grisly matter, with Krusty the Clown, Itchy, Chief Wiggum and Sideshow Bob among the early favourites for the chop next year. Sideshow Bob's voice actor, Kelsey Grammer, recently stated his character wouldn't be the one to bite the bullet, but then, show producer Al Jean revealed in October that the star who voices the departing character had yet to be informed. It could be then that the big-hared, floppy-footed psychopath's days are numbered, and quite frankly, we think it's about time we bid farewell to Sideshow Bob's vengeful character. With the Simpsons all set to pull the trigger on one of their main cast members, here, we take a look at 5 Reasons Why Sideshow Bob Needs To Die.
