The Simpsons: 5 Reasons Why Sideshow Bob Needs To Die

5. He Deserves To Die

Let's recap Sideshow Bob's criminal record for a moment. He has tried to murder Bart Simpson on innumerable occasions, has tried to blow up Selma, has framed Krusty for murder, and even unfairly earned the position of mayor of Springfield. He deserves to die - there's no other way around it - for clearly the penal system isn't working, as he continues to re-offend every time he is released from prison. Isn't it time to help the American taxpayer save a little cash by upgrading his sentence to death and send him on a visit to 'ol Sparky? For a child abductor, we find it pretty odd that Sideshow Bob is allowed to go largely unpunished for his misdeeds, and we think it's time he faced the ultimate punishment for his criminal actions, possibly in a 'shocking' episode that centres on him being sentenced to death - maybe he'll even finally repent and apologise to Bart for terrorising him all these years before his date with the electric chair?
