This September, the world of animation's two most famous families will collide in a unique cross-over as the Simpson family meet the Griffins in The Simpsons Guy. The mash-up will hit our screens in the premiere of Family Guy's 14th season and will see Bart, Maggie, Lisa, Homer and Marge unite with Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg and Stewie in a special one hour episode. The joint project between the two Fox entities was first announced in July last year with early plot details describing how the Griffins take a road trip and end up in Springfield, where they meet a few familiar faces. Quite how the two families play off each other will be interesting, considering the show's two creators - Matt Groening of the Simpsons and Seth MacFarlane of Family Guy, respectively, have poked fun at one another down the years, though MacFarlane did voice a prominent character in the Simpson's 24th series finale, indicating a cessation in hostilities. That being said, viewers will still be excited to see how the two famous families react to each other, and with just four months to go until the special episode, here, WhatCulture.com takes a look at 5 Things We Want To See in The Simpsons Guy.
