Sons Of Anarchy 7.11 Review - 5 Talking Points From Suits Of Woe
3. Unser Finally Snaps And A Civil War Is Brewing
Another character who has become far more vital to the story this season than ever before is Wayne Unser, quietly assembling pieces of the puzzle amidst the disarray that envelops Charming. Jax approached Unser for answers on why he and and Gemma were hiding Juice from the club, and Unser revealed that Chris Dunn couldn't possibly have been the man who killed Tara. Another piece fell into place for Jax in that moment, pushing him closer to the point where he could no longer deny the truth. He pleaded for the former sheriff to arrange a meeting with Juice, and gave his word that nothing shady would come of it. Wayne told him in no uncertain terms that if he lied to him, it would be the end of his loyalty to both the club and his family. Unfortunately Juice was never given word to back off Lin, and he did the deed before Jax ever arrived, convincing Unser that he had once again been used by the Sons. This was all it took to provoke a tirade and he let loose with some words meant to tear at Jax's very heart, so much so that he slugged the much older man and left to blow off steam. All season long it's felt like Unser's true loyalty has been shifted to Tara and doing right by her memory, and he's coming to terms with the role his beloved Gemma has played in all this dysfunction. Meanwhile, the forum requested by Indian Hills didn't go well for SAMCRO and Jax could possibly be facing a mayhem vote for killing Jury, especially now that the truth about the rat is out. With his entire world collapsing around him, this is just more accelerant tossed on the rapidly burning inferno that is his life.
