Sons Of Anarchy 7.7 Review - 5 Talking Points From "Greensleeves"
4. Nero Wants Out
How good is Jimmy Smits? What an awesome addition to the show, and vitally important as the heart and (shaky) moral compass of the SAMCRO family since Jax has descended into vengeance-fueled rage. The sad thing is, we feel for him and the situations he's been put in, and would like to see him find his happy ending. But it's infuriating that he can't see Gemma for what she is and is so blinded by his love for her. Gemma reaction to his proposal is just more evidence that she's a horrible person. What sane person wouldn't want to escape the madness that surrounds these people and settle into a quiet life with the person they love? "Nope, sorry. I love Charming. So many great memories here: Two murdered husbands and the death of my toddler son, being gang-raped by nazis and stabbing my daughter-in-law with a giant fork while she bled out in my sink...why would I ever want to leave this paradise?" When Nero approached Jax about selling out his share of Diosa, Jax basically blows him off, and he reaches out to Alvarez to make him the same offer. The Mayan president seems intrigued, so he may take Nero up on the offer. Regardless of what happens with Gemma, can we please find Nero some peace and happiness for he and his son?
