Sons Of Anarchy 7.7 Review - 5 Talking Points From "Greensleeves"

1. An Eye For An Eye...

...will only make the whole world blind. The Sons of Anarchy plotted and maneuvered and put their chess pieces in place in an attempt to play chess with August Marks, and in one move he swiped all their pieces off the board. It was their shot at playing chicken, and he quite literally ran them off the road. It was a valiant attempt by the MC to put Marks in a difficult position and get him to back off the Sons, but Jax was shown to be entirely out of his depth here, in dealing with an adversary far more formidable than he's ever faced. This isn't a bunch of uneducated thugs shooting it out in the streets, Marks is a man with wealth, power and influence and, more importantly, a vicious streak that he can't hide behind his expensive suits. SAMCRO is at his mercy. We don't know if Marks has any plans to offer up Bobby or if he'll just end him, but if his return is on the table, expect it to cost the Sons of Anarchy more than just a pound of flesh.
