5. Juice Makes His Play
Now weve got a semblance of an idea how Juice plans to make his move on Henry Lin. Hes agreeing to cut a deal with the DA and give up Taras killers so that he can get moved into county where Lin is being held and take him out from the inside. Its a bold move, one that isnt particularly suited to Juices strengths (which are basically crying, panicking and telling on people) and itll be interesting to see how far he gets with the plan. The interesting wrinkle is that Unser has figured out what Juices intentions are, and has advised Sheriff Jerry not to let Juice get close to Henry Lin. Jerry is more concerned with making the bust and closing Taras case, however, so protecting the Triad leader isnt a top priority for her. Also, one cant help but wonder how much her reluctance to go out of her way to isolate Juice from Lin is due to her ties to Chibs and sympathy toward the club. If Juice is unable to get to Henry, hes lost his shot at redemption from the club, and this will likely send him into panic mode and possibly be the final straw that gets him to give up the goods on what really happened to Tara and Sheriff Roosevelt.
