Sons Of Anarchy 7.8 Review - 5 Talking Points From "The Separation Of Crows"
Bikes, Bullets And Bloodshed: Part 8
You became the poison. After cranking down on the throttle for the last couple of episodes, it was time for a brief respite before we pick up steam once again. Now that weve reached the halfway point of the final season, a depressing milestone for passionate fans of Sons of Anarchy, we have a clearer picture of how things are playing out, but in true Kurt Sutter fashion, were fully prepared for some wrenches to be thrown in the works along the way. The Separation Of Crows was an introspective installment, heavy on intimate conversation between pairs of characters, some of it friendly, and at other times far less so. After the events of Greensleeves left one member of SAMCRO without an eye and the president feeling lost, this episode was geared toward motivating Jax Teller to get the MC back on the right track and focus on the goal of getting Bobby back (relatively) whole and eliminating the August Marks problem. We had an uncharacteristically tender moment between Jax and his V.P., even going so far as to call him Philip while professing his brotherly love to Chibs. These two have enjoyed a strong relationship since Chibs slid into the vice presidents chair, with the Scotsman acting as a father figure, protector and moral(ish) compass, keeping Jackie Boys eyes on the prize and his head in the game. The conversation on the roof told the underlying story of the episode, which was that Jaxs anger and vengeance has driven him to some questionable places, and the loyalty of his club is becoming strained thanks to the actions of the rogue SAMCRO leader. Lets take a look at 5 talking points from A Separation Of Crows.
