Sons Of Anarchy 7.8 Review - 5 Talking Points From "The Separation Of Crows"
2. Jury, Judge And Executioner
This week finally gave us the culmination of the plot that originated back in the second episode of the season, when SAMCRO, via Bobbys exs new man, was able to discover the truth about the man they killed to frame for the hit on the Chinese. After showing up at the young mans mothers house and dodging a rainstorm of bullets from Don Swayze, Jax and crew learned that the kids birth father was Jury, the president of the Sons of Anarchy Indian Hills charter. They put the pieces together and pegged Jury as the rat who sold them out to Lin and arranged a meeting to seek counsel. When the two MC presidents came face to face, the tension was on overload as Jury made accusations about the elder Teller being suicidal, and how disappointed he would be if he had lived to see his son become the very thing he hated about the life he had helped create. This led to blows, which ended with both men drawing their weapons and Jax killing Jury, while the Indian Hills V.P. Ed Sheerhan screamed in rage about how out of control Jax was and that he was going to pay for what hed done. The most important moment here comes from Jurys vehement denial that he was the rat, swearing that, while he may have wanted Jax dead for murdering his son, hes no rat. So is he telling the truth? For a man who let his tongue flow so venomously and freely, it doesnt seem like he felt the need to hide anything from Jax. So if Jury wasnt the rat, then who is? My moneys on RoboCop.
