Sons Of Anarchy 7.8 Review - 5 Talking Points From "The Separation Of Crows"

1. No Son Is Safe

In seasons past, whenever a threat was looming, the boys of SAMCRO would all head over to TM, call in backup from Tacoma (do those guys serve any other purpose?) and lock themselves within their own gates until the danger had subsided. But in €œThe Separation Of Crows€, the message was sent that no one is off limits, no family member is exempt from August Marks€™ killzone. Gemma returning home to find her birds hacked to bits in her bed wasn€™t all that distressing since it€™s Gemma and she€™s a hellspawn witch who deserves everything bad ever, but when she went into Thomas and Abel€™s room to find the knife through the stuffed animal and the message scrawled on the wall in ominous crayon, it instantly became much more serious. With one move August Marks showed Teller he was willing to go to any level, that nothing was out of bounds and that Jax was truly out of his depth, something he admitted himself earlier in this episode. Between receiving hacked-off parts of their brother and having the lives of his children threatened from within his own home, it doesn€™t body to well for the preacher€™s family. If the Sons weren€™t motivated to sell them out before, this was an incredibly violent push in that direction. So what did you think of €œThe Separation Of Crows€? This was definitely a calm before the coming storm, but hopefully it won€™t be long before the thunderclouds roll in.
