Sons Of Anarchy: 10 Best Forest Rangers Songs

8. John The Revelator - Curtis Stigers & The Forest Rangers

If there's one thing this song exemplifies it's the power of just a guitar and a voice. Although a traditional gospel and blues song, Curtis Stigers really makes it his own with his version, and when the full compliment of the band joins in, you just know that this was meant to be.

Appearing in season 1 episode 13, an episode fittingly entitled "The Revelator," John The Revelator is an incredibly powerful song, with lyrics depicting God himself walking on earth, and Jesus rising on Easter, and of course the word revelator itself describes someone who reveals the will of God. I

ts placement in this episode is just excellent, with Jax being handed a copy of his father's manuscript, told "it's time for a change," and we all know that Jax sees's his father as this God-like figure, so we know from this that he is getting ready to go against the grain of SAMCRO even harder than before, much like Adam going against God. I feel like I may be reaching a bit far here.

All in all, this is just a great track that you can listen to over and over again and not get bored, and one that fans of the show still remember fondly.
