Sons Of Anarchy: 10 Most Hated Episodes

For the most part, Jax's vision for the Sons of Anarchy was a simple one. He wanted to get them out of guns and anything that would threaten their safety or freedom, for more legitimate enterprises. However, at just about every turn a spanner was thrown in the works by something out of his control.

At the beginning of season six, it was the school shooting that rocked the whole town of Charming. Matthew Jennings, the step-son of Arcadio, Nero's cousin and high ranking member of the Byz-Lats, took a gun the Sons had provided Arcadio, and massacred his class.

This brought a lot of heat on the club, not only from Tyne Patterson, but it also gave Lee Toric even more ammo to try and bring them down. The Sons had come up against struggles from outside before, but nothing quite like this.

The series had always been gory, and while a lot of the violence and murder that came with such a story was generally accepted, this was a step too far for many. There was no real reason to bring in a storyline as brutal, controversial, and sensitive in the current world as this. If Kurt Sutter was trying to convey some sort of message or make a relevant point through the story it may have been understandable, but that wasn't the case...
