5. Half Sack Gets Stabbed To Death - Season Two
Half Sack was one of the most popular background characters on the show and his death came as quite a surprise. After being used mainly for comedic affect the young 'prospect' or 'biker in training' got a meatier role in season 2, as well as a new testicle (long story). After earning his stripes, so to speak, Half Sack was about to be voted in as a full time member of the club before he was stabbed to death after attempting to protect baby Abel by Real IRA member Cameron Hayes. He would earn his patch posthumously. As sad as this moment was for fans of the show it was completely overshadowed by the death of Johnny Lewis the actor who portrayed the character. Lewis died fleeing the scene of an alleged homicide which likely started out as a robbery before things got out of hand. Apparently he somehow found himself on the roof of a house and fell off. The official verdict was accidental death.
