Sons Of Anarchy 7.6 Review - 5 Talking Points From "Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em"
2. Juice Makes A Potentially Fatal Mistake
When Juice appealed to Alvarez for safe passage into Mexico in exchange for intel on SAMCRO, it seemed as if this would be a trump card that gave the Mayans a huge advantage over the MC. But Alvarez follows the same code as the Sons, where loyalty is the most important trait a man can possess and rats are worthy of nothing less than death, so he wasnt about to make any such deals with Juice. It was a savvy political move by a seasoned veteran of the streets for Alvarez to reach out to Jax and offer up Juice, especially considering the Triad had been all but wiped out. Jax was appreciative of the gesture and it was ultimately the icebreaker that led to the two crews reaching yet another truce. The conversation in the closet between Juice and Nero has viewers shouting at their televisions in frustration that Juice wouldnt just come out and tell Nero what actually happened with Tara, especially considering he figured he was a dead man walking at that point. Nero, being a softer soul than most of the men around him, clearly felt pity for Juice and the revelation that Gemma killed Tara would have been a huge bombshell. Next weeks previews seem to show Juice somehow earning his way back into the clubs good graces, but Sons of Anarchy has made an art-form out of crafting sleight of hand teasers for upcoming episodes.
