Sons Of Anarchy 7.6 Review - 5 Talking Points From "Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em"

1. The Walls Are Closing In On Gemma

You can see the gears turning in her evil, deceptive mind trying to concoct yet another lie to spin this situation in her favor. Gemma is a despicable witch who only cares about herself, and any thoughts to the contrary have been thrown out the window as she has willingly led her son and his brothers on a death march based on her lies designed to cover her own a*s. Upon realizing that she couldn€™t think of a justifiable story as to why Juice had her SUV, she resorted to breaking down in tears in hopes of garnering sympathy. But just as the duplicity was visible on Gemma€™s face, so too was skepticism present in Nero€™s. There was just enough there to make us wonder if Juice actually did come all the way clean with Nero at some point off-screen. Probably not, but there are enough little threads dangling for Nero to begin tying things together on his own. So when does that grenade finally go off? Once again, previews seem to suggest next week, but that€™s probably misdirection. We€™re nearing the midway point of the final season, and hopefully the truth comes out sooner rather than later, because the after-effects of that situation and how it affects everyone will be just as important as the revelation itself. This episode definitely felt like the ascent of a roller-coaster before it makes its first intense drop into the thrill ride we€™re all expecting.
