At the very beginning, Juice was a reliable, loyal, and trustworthy part of SAMCRO. He was essentially the young, tech savvy member, and was a great source of comic relief as being quite clumsy when it came to handling drugs, but everything changed when Eli Roosevelt came to town.

When Juice was forced to rat on the club, being blackmailed into providing the Sheriff with evidence of their ties with the Galindo Cartel, he killed Miles and was never the same. Unable to live with the guilt, he became suicidal, and was never truly happy again.

Unable to move past his depression, struggling to live with what he had done, he was a completely different character. He was almost run over during a hit and run and barely flinched, and he walked blindly over a mine field, seemingly hoping that he caught one.

The final weeks of his life saw his depression evolve into desperation, as he tried anything to stay alive, including offering to trade SAMCRO secrets to the Mayans in exchange for passage to Mexico. He ultimately did Jax's dirty work of killing Lin after the promise of a pardon, but he was killed for lying about who killed Tara. This completed one of the biggest falls from grace in the entire show.
