South Park: 10 Best Characters Who Appeared After Season One

9. Scott Malkinson

Making fun of a kid with diabetes is the kind of thing only South Park could get away with. In real life, joking at the expense of such a horrid illness is pretty cruel and likely to get you a well-deserved slap on the wrist. But, it works so well in this series as the gags are less at the expense of Scott and rather an example of how mean kids can be.

Scott Malkinson popped into the show in season 8's "The Jeffersons", an outing that saw Michael Jackson and his children move to the town in disguise. Although he started as a simple background character, Scott quickly climbed the ranks, even getting his own episode in season 23 - "Basic Cable".

The words "I'm Scott Malkinson, and I have diabetes" are etched into the minds of all South Park fans, and for good reason. The character's sole humour revolves around his desire for his disease to be taken seriously, and it works so well because you can understand his point of view.

Hopefully, Scott Malkinson can find justice one day, but it probably won't be anytime soon.
