South Park: 10 Best Characters Who Appeared After Season One
2. Tweek Tweak
Tweek is an excellent example of how Matt Stone and Trey Parker can accidentally create the perfect character for modern times.
He's a wild and erratic kid who panics all the time and is entirely unkempt, which at first was the whole joke. However, after some time, he managed to slot perfectly into the modern understanding of anxiety disorders and mental health. Not too bad for a prepubescent coffee drinker.
The character was introduced in season two, so he wasn't too late to the party. He hit the ground running with a leading part in "Gnomes" and from there became an integral character, even replacing Kenny in the main four for a short time in season six. Still, he hit his peak later in the show.
Of course, it would be remiss not to mention his relationship with Craig Tucker, which led to one of the funniest narratives in the show's later seasons.
Watching as he and Craig formed a romantic relationship purely to keep the town happy was hilarious, but seeing them evolve and grow legitimately close is also quite heartwarming.
