South Park: 10 Times Eric Cartman Got What He Deserved
3. Scott Tennorman’s Revenge On Cartman
Episode: 201 (Season 14, Episode 6)
If you’re not thoroughly familiar with the episode “Scott Tenorman must die”, then you can’t be considered a true South Park fan. It is the masterpiece of Trey Parker and Matt Stone and widely sighted as the greatest South Park episode of all time.
It’s hilarious, dark, seriously messed-up with an engaging plot as well as the moment that Cartman’s character went from irritable brat to full on sociopath. Without going into too many details, it ends up with Scott Tenorman eating his own parents in a bowl of chilli whilst being embarrassed in front of his favourite band Radiohead for crying - all thanks to Eric Cartman.
But one begs the question, what ever happened to Scott Tenorman after this trauma? He was seen very briefly in “The Death of Eric Cartman” when he was mourning his parents at their grave, granted for a brief moment. The show did revisit Scott’s life post-chilli but it’s not very well remembered because it was during the two-part 200/201 episodes which wasn’t initially aired due to its controversial imagery.
Essentially, it was a clip show type of episode which included every single character ever on the show, even those which were phased out or brief. This included Scott Tenorman who spent years in a mental institution after the events of the chilli incident. During his time in an institute, he did research on Cartman’s background and found out who is real father was. In doing so, he exposed the truth that they actually shared the same father, meaning Cartman killed his own father and ground him up into making chilli.
The most disturbing part is Cartman is not upset about killing his own father but only for the knowledge that he has ginger genes. Yep, he’s still the same sociopath that was birthed in Scott Tenorman must die.
