6. Letting His Friend Die For His PSP - Best Friends Forever
Best Friends Forever is an excellent episode, giving a funny but also in-depth look at right-to-die laws, showing that there is no right or wrong answer in regards to the life of someone who won't properly get to live. This, however, doesn't change the fact that Cartman only wants Kenny to die so he can have his PSP.
Kenny was run over and killed, only to be brought back to life a day later but kept in a permanent vegetative state. It's a battle between Cartman and the right-to-die advocates, and Stan and Kyle who don't want to lose their friend. This is one of the battles that Cartman wins in the end and Kenny ends up dead (and free to go to heaven and fight a war against the armies of Satan).
But the fact that Cartman is happy to exploit very loose rules and get an entire half of a country behind him just so he can take advantage of Kenny's will for his PlayStation Portable, a game console that wasn't particularly popular, just shows his lack of empathy and manipulation at its very worst in this surprisingly deep episode.
