2. Attempted Murder & Cover-Up By His Parents - Butters' Very Own Episode
Of all the people you expect to murder you, your parents would be at the bottom of that list. But as we've seen time and time again, nothing is sacred in the town of South Park.
It's the Stotch parents' anniversary and Linda wants Detective Butters to spy on Steven to find out what her present is. He follows his dad for a couple of nights and from Butters' point of view, sees him going to a sad movie because of the amount of tissues he had, and wrestling with other men in a sauna.
Realising Steven is cheating on her with random men, Linda goes off the rails and attempts to murder her son by locking him in her car and pushing it into the river.
Steven confronts Linda and the two work together to cover up their heinous acts by saying the child was kidnapped by "some Puerto Rican guy" and creating new elaborate lies to hide the fact that they're terrible people!
Butters meanwhile is alive and well, and just looking to get home and enjoy an anniversary meal with his folks and Bennigans.
Ignorance is bliss I guess...
