South Park: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best

8. Season 7 (2003)

By the time season 7 rolled on, centring storylines around Cartman had become the norm. Butters and Cartman had been clashing for years but this season felt like the first time the writers got the formula perfect.

However, the best part has to be All About Mormons, which feels like a precursor to the creators' musical, Book of Mormon. Trey Parker and Matt Stone already had a thorough knowledge of Mormonism (and made a film about it called Orgazmo), so they were able to cram every religious joke in this 22-minute episode.

The only real criticism with this season is how it concentrates on zany entertainment rather than hard-hitting commentaries on topical issues.
