3. Lwaxana Troi
If ever a woman needed to have a quantum singularity explode in her face, it was Deanna's mother. Any time she was on the Enterprise she acted like she owned it, and did her best to belittle Picard, who looked forward to her visits to his ship about as much as I did. She was condescending, petty, spoiled, bratty, aloof and (much worse) sometimes alluring, or what she believed was alluring. Her constant putting down of her daughter too got on my nerves, always calling her "Little One", and how Mister Homn put up with her ordering him about is anyone's guess. I suppose because she was played by the late widow of the great Roddenberry she had a free pass, but although there were some places she shone --- "Dark page", "The quality of life" and "The Forsaken" were three, rather rare, examples of her letting her guard down and appearing almost human --- generally she was just an annoyance and a major disruption wherever she went. I'm sure some small part of Deanna would have thanked the writers had they had her bumped off.
