The Lake Ontario Bridge was a major construction project that linked Toronto, Canada, to the United States. It appeared, briefly, in Tomorrow And Tomorrow And Tomorrow. The Strange New Worlds senior concept artist and art director, Daniel J. Burns, identified the bridge as the 'Toronto-Niagara' Bridge.

It was destroyed by Romulan temporal agents in 2022, effectively sabotaging a joint victory that had been hailed as a massive success for international cooperation. These are the same agents who moved the Eugenics Wars - they've been busy.

The Bridge currently does not exist, however it is inspired by such other structures as the Peace Bridge, which opened in 1927. an almost two-kilometre link between Fort Eerie, Ontario, and Buffalo, New York. That bridge, as of late 2024, is still standing.
