Star Trek: 10 Hated Episodes You Grew To Love

4. Wolf In The Fold

With this episode, I get the hate. Really, I do. Scotty was in an accident caused by a woman, so now the fear is that he'll hate all women? So when bodies start piling, well it must be him! (ok he was caught over a body with a knife in his hand - admittedly, not a great look Scotty!)

This episode took a severe kicking for those outlined reasons, which is both understandable, but a real shame. There's so much more to Wolf In The Fold than that odd plotline. The return of Jack The Ripper to the history books was a frightening addition by writer Robert Bloch, updated for a SciFi lens.

The episode has been reevaluated as time has passed, now becoming one of the go-to examples of horror in Star Trek. As this list is being written in October, it feels only natural to include it here. Peek-a-boo, Jack The Ripper may just be...you.
