Star Trek: 10 Life Lessons You Can Learn From Worf

5. Everybody Needs "Me" Time - "Bar Association" (Deep Space Nine)

When stationed on DS9, we learn that Worf billets himself on board the USS Defiant. While he claims he enjoys the solitude, we also learn that he actually also enjoys playing Klingon opera at high volume all throughout the ship's computer system. Imagine that: Worf indulging in play, or "me time". Everybody needs time to themselves. Whether it's to write, read, and dance the funky chicken or simply to meditate, sometimes your own company is the best. It's important to learn to like yourself and allow yourself the time to let go of other concerns and feed your soul. No one else knows you as well as you and what you enjoy so cut loose and have some fun every now and then.
