Five light years across, that's the size of the gravitational anomaly.
According to Paul Stamets and Tilly (speaking to an off-screen Admiral Vance), the sci-fi stuff threatening the galaxy this time on Star Trek: Discovery is big and "it could go anywhere".
The results of this gravitational menace are evident in the cargo bay (or other large space) aboard a Starfleet starship (note the 32nd century Starfleet emblem on the floor) which is flipped upside down and on fire.
