Tendi conducts some kind of medical treatment (or experiment) on Rutherford in the lower decks of the Cerritos.
Rutherford is covered with medical devices similar to the ubiquitous neurocortical monitor seen frequently in Star Trek: Voyager.
Just behind them is the charred remains of the shuttlecraft Sequoia which was nearly destroyed but saved by Shax during the Bajoran tactical officer's climactic death scene in last season's "No Small Parts".
