Star Trek Day's Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 trailer wraps up with a new title treatment for the series.

Still retaining the split Starfleet insignia, this new logo features the standard "Star Trek" font and a new typeface for "Discovery", bringng it in line with the logo presentations for Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Lower Decks, and the upcoming Star Trek: Prodigy.

About this change, Alex Kurtzman and Michele Paradise said that Season 1's logo was tailored to reflect the show's Klingon War storyline, but with that war nearly a 1000 years in the past, it was time for Discovery to get a new look going into its third year.
