Star Trek Discovery: Every Easter Egg & Hidden Reference From 'That Hope Is You'

17. State Of The Worlds

The episode opens with a few glimpses of life in the 32nd century, including the relatively comfortable (if solitary) life of Aditya Sahil aboard a derelict Federation relay station.

What's left of the Federation and Starfleet is evident in the mass of debris and hulks of dead starships. One of these long destroyed starships is a clearly labeled Starfleet vessel, featuring part of a registry number beginning with the customary "NCC-" code.

We can't see any more than that, but it's clear that even this far into the future, Starfleet was sticking with its naming and numbering conventions... until, you know, it wasn't.
