15. The Nautilus

Cleveland "Book" Booker's ship is the Nautilus.

In the opening dogfight with Cosmo's spinning ship, we can see the differences between the way the two vessels maneuver. The Nautilus is an asymmetrical design which seems to balance in flight similar to naturally aerodynamic maple seed pods.

The interior of the Nautilus continues this parallel, mixing highly technological production design with smooth, wood surfaces.

The controls are holographic like in Star Trek: Picard's 24th century, but they're complimented by "programmable matter" controls. These controls look a bit like the Wakandan control interfaces in Marvel's "Black Panther" and apparently make up a good chunk of 32nd century hardware.

The same programmable matter is seen aboard the Federation relay station where it forms everything from a bed, to a mirror, to a box containing the Federation flag.
