Originally an engineer for the USS Enterprise, Nhan served on the bridge crew for a while before being reassigned to Chief of Security in early season 2. She proved her loyalty to the ship, volunteering to stay even with little chance of return.
However, as she was presumed dead in the following episode and only served as Chief of Security for eleven episodes, there is truly not enough screen time showing Nhan performing this duty to get the sense of whether she was a good and effective Chief of Security.
Unfortunately, like Ellen Landry, she ranks low.
