We all want to forget the disaster that was Star Trek: Enterprise and Malcolm Reed does not help its case. The bad writing of the show clearly spilled over to his character as he constantly comes across as either uncomfortably awkward or outright aggressive. Admittedly he throws himself into his role, but he allows his position to cloud his judgement, damaging relations with Major Hayes over it.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of combat scenes in Enterprise, we have little to go off in gauging Reed’s physical abilities, and the aforementioned fight with Hayes seemed pretty back and forth at best.

Due to his seeming lack of compassion and the impatience he shows throughout the series, as well as his inability to mix with other members of the crew, Malcolm Reed also comes in low on this list.
