7. Inside Man
Inside Man is the follow up to Pathfinder and by this stage, the Voyager crew know who Reg is and they know to expect a friendly face with him. What they don't expect is for him to appear on their holodeck, professing to have discovered a way to get the ship home in three days.
This is an episode of two Barclay's. There is the hologram, corrupted by the Ferengi and attempting to get the ship home at the cost of all life on board, and then there is the Barclay who is working at Starfleet Headquarters, completely aware that the plan to get Voyager home is still being worked on, slowly realizing that something is afoot.
Marina Sirtis also guest stars as Deanna Troi, allowing for more moments of comedy as she squares off against the Dabo girl who used and abused Reg, working with the Ferengi.
Though the episode ends with the Voyager crew unaware of what exactly happened with the initially benign and then increasingly erratic Barclay hologram, the staff of Project Pathfinder know that they have saved the crew from certain death, even if they can't celebrate that fact for another month!
