Arena is one of the most memorable Star Trek episodes ever, featuring what the internet has dubbed the "Worst Fight Scene Ever" in which Captain Kirk fights a Captain of a Gorn ship.

But before those two were duking it out very, very slowly, the episode had to establish how dangerous the Gorn were, and it did so at the expense of Ensign O'Herlihy.
