Star Trek Lower Decks: Every Easter Egg & Hidden Reference From 'Envoys'

After Rutherford fails at his first go at command training in the holodeck, Commander Ransom suggests he try the "Janeway Protocol".

This is of course a reference to Ensign Janeway who was abused by a mentally unwell Counselor Deanna Troi in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Man of the People".

Okay, actually it's a reference to Star Trek: Voyager's Captain Janeway, last seen chronologically just a year prior to this episode serving as an Admiral at Starfleet Headquarters in Star Trek Nemesis.

Really, it could be either Janeway though, you don't know.
