Star Trek Lower Decks: Every Easter Egg & Hidden Reference From 'Second Contact'

6. The Bar

Star Trek Lower Decks

During Rutherford's date with Ensign Barnes, we're introduced to the Cerritos' bar.

Given the amount of drinking we've seen Starfleet officers do over the years, it probably shouldn't be a surprise what a large and well appointed facility the bar is here.

The glassware is (say it with us) straight out of Star Trek: The Next Generation, as are the unflattering waiter's attire. These green and black outfits were often seen in the Enterprise-D's Ten Forward, most notably worn by Ben (just Ben) in the episode "Lower Decks" – a nod to Lower Decks the TV series' roots.

The back wall of the bar features a Starfleet insignia with two cocktail olives speared through it. Starfleet getting clever with its signage in 2380.
