Star Trek Lower Decks: Every Easter Egg & Hidden Reference From 'Second Contact'

4. Star Trek Regulations

Star Trek Lower Decks
CBS

When he catches Mariner allegedly selling Federation weapons to some humble pig-like Galardonian famers, Boimler cites Starfleet regulations 498 and 756 at her.

Mariner counters with regulations 25, 15, 348, and 76 – which Boimler is breaking just by pointing a phaser at a fellow officer.

Before Lower Decks, none of these regulations have been cited before, but they're all apparently vaguely in reference to the illegal sale of arms to non-Federation peoples.

After Boimler and Mariner release the Galardonians spider cow, Mariner cites General Order 5, refusing emergency beam out so the two officers can catch the creature and return it to its owners.
