Star Trek: Picard - 16 Huge Details Everyone Missed In The Trailer

1. That's Probably Not Data

Ok so you remember me saying that the Captain Picard Day shot didn't "bode too well for the big one later on". Well, this is that.

Given the nostalgia, the inability to let go, the fact we see (possibly) him in a drawer, and the fact he's wearing a uniform, this is almost certainly not Data. This is almost certainly a holodeck throw back to his time on board the Enterprise. Going back to the old ship, to see his old friends and, as we saw, with the cards, relive those moments.

As exciting as it is to close on a shot of Data, it's almost certainly a bit of a tease for something we won't be getting in the show itself. If Data is a presence in the show, why does Picard mourn his death, why are parts of another robot hidden away in a drawer, why why why why why?

Yes alright, I get that the purpose of a trailer is to ask us questions that we'll tune in to have answered, but 2020 is simply too far away and my life now stretches out in front of me in ways that are both infinite and irritating. I want to watch Star Trek Picard, and I want to watch it now.
