Star Trek Picard: 8 Things Everyone Missed In The Final Trailer

1. In A Romulan Bar

So yes, Seven of Nine is back, and yes she's armed with two Starfleet-issue Phaser Rifles, and yes she's got them both set to Stun because she's not here to end anybody but, who's she shooting at? Well, we don't know who the target is but we can make a fairly educated guess when looking over at the bar on the right of the shot.

Sat there, miraculously un-exploded are two glasses containing a vibrant blue liquid, very clearly intended to be Kali-fal... or Romulan Ale as it's more commonly known. Now, admittedly, anybody could be drinking that, but given that Romulan Ale is an illicit substance in the Federation (yes they lifted the trade ban for the Dominion War but as of Nemesis it was definitely illegal again) it's almost certainly some of its native clients that will have been enjoying it.

As with all good trailers you want to leave with more questions than answers, and as far as that goes "Why Is Seven of Nine Dual-Weilding Phaser Refiles In A Romulan Wetherspoons?" is a pretty enticing one. As with everything else though, we're not going to find out until Picard finally arrives in January 2020.
