Star Trek Picard: Every Easter Egg & Hidden Reference From 'Nepenthe'
12. That's Definitely Photoshopped
Deanna shows Picard to their son's room so he can have an old man nap.
In the years since we've seen Riker and Troi (you know that flashback in 2005's Star Trek Enterprise episode "These Are the Voyages..." doesn't count), the couple had two kids, Kestra and Thad.
Kestra was named for Troi's deceased sister Kestra, who it was revealed in the TNG episode "Dark Page" had died when Deanna was a baby.
Thad, now deceased himself, was named for Riker's ancestor, Thaddius Riker, who apparently encountered Q (another one) during the American Civil War (see Star Trek: Voyager's "Death Wish"). Deanna tells Jean-Luc that Thad would've just turned 18, indicating he was born soon after their marriage and the events of Star Trek Nemesis.
The photo of Picard holding Thad shows the Admiral in his "14-years earlier" flashbacks uniform and the baby appears to be wearing a Starfleet uniform onesie, which is probably coming to the CBS Store any day now...
