Star Trek The Next Generation: Where Are They Now?

Be honest—when the Next Generation aired, you either had a crush on Sirtis’ Deanna Troi, or you weren’t watching the show. A telepath, empath, and psychologist, Troi was the ship’s resident counsellor, a role which would ask a lot of anyone when the crew generally went through a dramatic encounter with aliens, the Borg, or reality-warping troll Q every other week.

Eventually paired up with Riker, Troi provided the show some much needed soul and Sirtis’ occasionally hammy turn in the role is still affectionately remembered amongst fans. As for the actor, she’s remained busy since the show went off the air, appearing alongside Frakes in this year’s Picard as well as cropping up for brief guest spots in the likes of Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, The Orville, DC’s Titans, and, bizarrely, BBC’s Holby City—and we haven’t even mentioned her role in Sharknado 6 (for good reason).
