Star Trek: Top 10 Unexpected Cameos

8. Bryan Singer - Director of X-Men

Star Trek Bryan Singer That's right. The talented director of The Usual Suspects and the first two X-Men movies (with a third coming in 2014) had a small part in Star Trek: Nemesis. He played a tactical officer who replaced Worf on the bridge when the universe's most famous Klingon took off on a mission. Singer is an admitted Trekkie from way back in the time of the original Star Trek television series. He's even talked about making a play for the director's job on Star Trek III. Singer scored his small role in Star Trek: Nemesis through his friendship with Captain Picard (Patrick Stewart), who as we all know played Professor Charles Xavier in The X-Men movies. On a slightly interesting side note, Famke Jannsen, the gorgeous actress who plays Jean Grey in the X-Men movies, also appeared in Star Trek. She played Kamala in The Perfect Mate, an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.
