Star Trek: Unproduced Stories That Were Never Filmed

He Walked Among Us

Milton Berle Apparently comedian Milton Berle was a huge Star Trek fan and the producers of TOS wanted to get €œUncle Milty€ on the show. Norman Spinrad (The Doomsday Machine) and Gene L. Coon (writer of fan favorite episodes Space Seed and The Devil in the Dark) penned a comedy that cast Milton Berle as a Federation Sociologist and health nut who takes over a primitive planet. Spinrad was so displeased with the finished product he told Star Trek creator Gene Rodenberry, €œ€don€™t embarrass the show by shooting this piece of s**t.€ (ST Monthly Issue 26)

Miss Gulliver

Attack Giant Woman An episode centered on a woman who, after a medical experiment becomes a giant. The script ends with her boyfriend being turned into a giant and joining her to settle a planet. There, they would have presumably grown a civilization of behemoths who would have replaced Khan and his augments as the villains of Star Trek II.
