He Walked Among Us
Apparently comedian Milton Berle was a huge Star Trek fan and the producers of TOS wanted to get Uncle Milty on the show. Norman Spinrad (The Doomsday Machine) and Gene L. Coon (writer of fan favorite episodes Space Seed and The Devil in the Dark) penned a comedy that cast Milton Berle as a Federation Sociologist and health nut who takes over a primitive planet. Spinrad was so displeased with the finished product he told Star Trek creator Gene Rodenberry, dont embarrass the show by shooting this piece of s**t. (ST Monthly Issue 26)
Miss Gulliver
An episode centered on a woman who, after a medical experiment becomes a giant. The script ends with her boyfriend being turned into a giant and joining her to settle a planet. There, they would have presumably grown a civilization of behemoths who would have replaced Khan and his augments as the villains of Star Trek II.
